Basic Emergency Life Support (BELS) is the mid-tier emergency response qualification. It sits between standalone CPR and full first aid, and covers how to manage a casualty who is unconscious, bleeding, choking, in shock, or experiencing anaphylaxis, asthma or stroke. Built for public-facing and frontline roles who need to respond to a life-threatening emergency before help arrives.

Every course is aligned to current Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and ASCIA guidance. When the protocols update, our content updates.
